The stock market day-traders wake up in the morning before the market opens. They flip on the lights of their home office, turning on their computer multi-monitored, connect to their trading software day and begin planning for the day. Depending on what day trading strategies for their use, they can go to the websites of financial news, logon to the EDGAR system of the Securities and Exchange Commission, or simply open the Financial Times.
